Thomas Lubig studied law at the Rheinische Friedrichs-Wilhelms-University Bonn. Already at this time he focused on commercial law - in particular employment law. In 2015 Thomas Lubig successfully passed the first state examination in law. Subsequently, he completed the university specialization area also in labor law.
During his studies Thomas Lubig gained his first practical experience as a research assistant in a mid-sized commercial law firm in Bonn. After the successful completion of his university specialization, he began his legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Cologne in 2017. During this time he continued his work as a research assistant.
After working, among others, for a nationwide commercial law firm in Bonn and in the employment law team of an international commercial law firm in Düsseldorf, Thomas Lubig passed his second state law examination in 2019. He was admitted to the bar in 2019 and joined the Cologne office of LLR in the same year. Since 2023 he is specialist lawyer for labour law.
Thomas Lubig provides comprehensive advice to companies as well as employees and works councils in all areas of individual and collective labour law. Thomas Lubig is a member of the Cologne and German Bar Associations.
When Thomas Lubig is not working, he is often to be found on or near the football field. He also follows the latest series on "Netflix" or meets with friends or his family.
