Jochen Dütemeyer studied law at the Universities of Freiburg and Bonn.
Since being admitted to the bar in 1979, Jochen Dütemeyer was initially a partner in a law firm in Cologne on the right bank of the Rhine for 15 years before founding his own employment law firm in Cologne-Rath in 1996. From here he moved to LLR at the beginning of 2018. Jochen Dütemeyer has been a specialist lawyer for employment law since 1988. In 2006 he successfully completed the medical law specialist course at the Cologne Bar Association.
Jochen Dütemeyer advises both employers and employees on all labour law issues and represents them up to the Federal Labour Court. His clients are media companies, medium-sized production companies and service companies, hospitals and other charitable institutions throughout Germany, including those run by churches, as well as board members and managing directors.
Jochen Dütemeyer was an examiner and a long-standing member of the judicial examination office at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne as well as a member of the preliminary examination committee for specialist lawyers for labour law at the Cologne Chamber of Labour.
Jochen Dütemeyer is a member of the DAV Working Group for Labour Law and the German Labour Court Association.
When Jochen Dütemeyer is not working, he likes to spend more time with his grandchildren, plays golf and is interested in classical music and art.
