Jülide Kaya

Jülide Kaya studied law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University in Bonn. She specialized in "Economy and Competition" and acquired the certificate "IP, IT and Media Law" during her studies. After her first state examination, she worked as a research associate in IT and data protection law at an international law firm in Cologne.

Jülide Kaya completed her legal clerkship at the Regional Court in Bonn. She completed the stations at the Federal Office of Justice in Bonn, at an international law firm in Cologne and at the Federal Agency for Child and Youth Protection in the Media in the department for the Legal Protection of Minors in the Media. In all of these stations, she deepened her knowledge of IT, data protection and media law.

After successfully completing her second state examination, she began working as a lawyer in the field of IT law/digitalization and data protection law at LLR in autumn 2022. She focuses on advising on IT law and data protection issues and also advises on social media law and gaming law. Since 2023, she has also been certified as a Data Protection Officer at the European Centre on Privacy and Cybersecurity at Maastricht University.

Since 2023, Jülide Kaya has been a lecturer on legal issues of digitalization at the Faculty of Business Administration and Law at TH Köln.

Jülide Kaya is a member of the Cologne Bar Association and is active in the German Women Lawyers Association.

Jülide Kaya enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, listening to music and podcasts and exploring new countries and cultures.
