Christoph Heinen studied law in Frankfurt am Main and Cologne. He was admitted to the bar in 1994. Before becoming a founding partner of LLR in 2006, he was a lawyer in a large commercial law firm for 12 years, the last seven of which as a partner.

Christoph Heinen has worked in the field of property and construction law for his entire legal career. He and his team advise on complex project and neighbourhood developments in all asset classes, from the creation of building law to completion and marketing. His personal work focuses in particular on drafting contracts for property transactions (asset and share deals) including legal due diligence as well as drafting large-volume rental and lease agreements. In addition, he regularly drafts contracts for general contractors, general contractors and (general) planners and deals with the drafting of leasehold contracts. Christoph Heinen’s clients are project developers, property developers, institutional investors, family offices, public clients and engineering companies.

When Christoph Heinen is not working, he is an enthusiastic family man and a self-confessed bon vivant. In his free time, Christoph Heinen indulges in his passion for music – both actively and passively, travelling, mountain hiking and road cycling. He is also always up for art, culture and a good book.
