Christoph Heinen (born 1963) studied law in Frankfurt am Main and Cologne. He was admitted to the bar in 1994. Before becoming a founding partner of LLR in 2006, he was a lawyer in a large commercial law firm for 12 years, the last seven of which he spent as a partner.

Christoph Heinen has been working in the field of real estate and construction law for his entire legal career.

Together with his team, he handles complex project and district developments in all asset classes, from planning law issues to completion and marketing. His personal work focuses in particular on the drafting of contracts for real estate transactions (asset and share deals), including the performance of legal due diligence, as well as the drafting of large-volume rental and lease agreements. In addition, he regularly drafts general contractor, general transferee and (general) planner agreements and deals with the drafting of building lease agreements. Christoph Heinen's clients are project developers, property developers, institutional investors, family offices, public clients and engineering companies.

Christoph Heinen is a member of the Gesellschaft für Immobilienwirtschaftliche Forschung e.V. and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Baurecht. The Handelsblatt regularly lists him as one of Germany's best lawyers in real estate business law.

Christoph Heinen is an enthusiastic family man and avowed bon vivant. In his free time, Christoph Heinen indulges his passion for music (both actively and passively), travels, hikes in the mountains and rides his racing bike. In addition, he is always up for art, culture and a good book.
