Sebastian Saar studied law at the University of Saarbrücken. He specialised in German and international criminal law, commercial criminal law and criminal tax law. After his first state examination, he worked as a research assistant – including in a medium-sized law firm in the areas of IT & IP and data protection law, at a chair for public law and in a renowned criminal law firm in Saarbrücken. He also worked as a lecturer in administrative law at the University of Saarbrücken. Sebastian Saar completed his legal clerkship at the Palatinate Higher Regional Court in Zweibrücken.

After successfully completing his second state examination in May 2022, he initially worked as an assessor in a medium-sized law firm, where he was able to deepen his knowledge of corporate law and expand his expertise in tax law. In 2023, Sebastian Saar was admitted to the bar and subsequently joined LLR’s Cologne office. Here he primarily works in the areas of corporate law and tax law.

Sebastian Saar advises both companies and private individuals comprehensively in the areas of corporate law and tax law as well as in the areas of compliance and corporate governance.

When Sebastian is not working, he spends time with friends and family, plays sports, prefers to enjoy independent films and music or, from time to time, proves his ability to suffer with video games.
